Tribute Band Raises Over £1500 for Teenage Cancer Trust
A popular Bruno Mars tribute band from Sutton will be bringing some Uptown Funk to Saturday night when they perform a sell-out
charity gig this weekend, inspired by a courageous teenager.
Eighteen-year-old Brandon Mazumder from Four Oaks and his live six-piece band The MBs will perform in front of nearly 300 people tomorrow night (January 10) in a show they are sure to ‘treasure’, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Arthur Terry School pupil was motivated to raise money for the charity by the inspirational story of Burntwood teenager Stephen Sutton MBE who raised millions of pounds for the cause before his death last May, aged 19. And with tickets for gig selling out within 48 hours, the young performer is hoping to raise hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds.
